Songs Of Hope And Healing

This ten song collection takes you through a year and a half of my life and is a testimony to Gods love. The journey starts on

(1) No More Anger) my second day out of detox, I was on my way somewhere, I didn’t have a clue as to where I was going.

(2) Rock Bottom) I fell as far as I needed to but even being as low as I was I felt a peacefulness in my heart that I had never felt before...I kept hearing the words "everything will be alright".

(3) Time Will Heal) Yeah, there was a divorce.

(4) Let It Rain) Very excited to be starting a new life.

(5) Through Everything) Realizing that God had been there the whole time.

(6) Thank You) This song started out as "Bless You" and quickly changed to "Thank You"  It sounds very sarcastic but that's not at all how I meant it. Really!

(7) I’ll Take A Chance) Falling in love again.

(8) Hero In My Eyes) Working through some childhood issues with some of my sister's and future wife's issues thrown in to boot.

(9) Forty Long Years) Obviously reading Exodus and I was turning 40 that year and feeling like I had wandered a good part of my life away.

(10) It Only Took One Day) It took me a year to write this one. It was written in three parts, the first two verses and chorus about myself, second verse and chorus about 911 and the third verse about my ex wife Donna.

About Randy

Randy Milligan is a Singer/Songwriter/Musician who has been performing in the Buffalo, Western New York and Southern Ontario regions since 1980. He has relied mainly on his solo performances over the years, drawing from an extensive song list of over 300 songs and  over 100 different artists.  He is a Buffalo Music Award winner for Top Solo Artist in 1993, ‘94 and ‘95. He also won in 1988 with his ex- partner Polla Milligan (no relation) for Top Duo/Trio. He released his first all-original Cd  “Forty Long Years” in Dec. '04 and is currently working on his 2nd disc "Walking On My Heart".
